The SLOOP Users' Group is a forum for the exchange of information and experience on the use of the SLOOP Software. The Users' Group has a direct influence on future development of SLOOP. It also has the opportunity of specifying and developing additional features and functionality for the software.

Benefits of membership:

• Attendance by two company representatives at workshops.
• SLOOP telephone and email support in the use of the software and simulation model building.
• Private Users' Group web site with up-to-date User Group News and document/software downloads.
• Forum for the agreement and specification of jointly funded software enhancements. (Additional features jointly funded by the Users' Group are not made available to non User Group members for a period of 2 years from development.)
• Workshops consist of presentations by SLOOP-2 Users describing their applications and experiences using SLOOP-2, and presentations by BMT on new applications and methods, and proposed software enhancements. A case study simulation is also performed.
  Cost of membership: £ 5,000 per annum

Please note that membership of the User Group is only available to companies with at least one SLOOP-2 software licence currently under maintenance.
